  1. Aspirin

The main ingredient in the aspirin, the salicylic acid, is being used to treat acne in many products. You can take one aspirin, crush it and mix it with little water. After you mix it to make a paste you can use the cotton swab and apply it on the pimple. It should stay on for 10 minutes and afterwards wash it off with warm water.

  1. Tea tree oil

The anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties of the tea tree oil can help as well. Just use few drops of the oil and dab it on the blemish. It is best to leave it overnight and wash it in the morning.

  1. Ice

We usually use ice to lower the swelling on the joint or ankle, but you can also use it to lower the inflammation of the pimple. Wrap an ice cube in a wash cloth and put it on the pimple for over a minute.

  1. Apple cider vinegar

Make a combination of 1 part apple cider vinegar and three parts of water. If your skin is sensitive you can use four parts of water. Use a cotton ball to dip it in the mixture and apply it on the face. This mixture will remove the bacteria and treat the acne. The citric acid from the vinegar is being used in many products for treating acne due to the hydroxyl acid in it.

  1. Lemon juice

Besides the Apple cider vinegar, the lemon contains citric acid as well. Take a cotton ball and dip it in a lemon juice, apply it on your face and leave it overnight. The antioxidant and astringent will do their magic.

  1. Garlic

We are all aware of the antibacterial and antiseptic properties of the garlic. The crushed garlic has antibacterial properties and a compound known as allicin which can actually help with acne. Crush the garlic and mix it with water. Apply it directly on the blemish and after five minutes rinse it off.

  1. Egg whites

The vitamins and proteins in the egg whites can draw the oil from the skin and make it tight. Besides this the inflammation can be reduced and the pores become unclogged. You can apply egg whites on the area and leave it on for 10 minutes, after what you can wash your face.

Apply little honey on the face and leave it for 5 minutes. Wash your face with warm water. The anti inflammatory and antiseptic properties can help the blemishes and reduce the acne.

  1. Baking soda

You can use the baking soda as a cleanser or a mask. Mix three parts baking soda with one part water. Apply it while at the same time massaging the face gently. Leave it on for five minutes and wash the face with warm water. It can exfoliate the skin and remove the oil from the face.

  1. Banana

The banana peel can help when is placed on the pimple. You can use it for warts as well. You can rub the banana peel, the inside of it, on the pimple or on your face, massage it gently for five to ten minutes and afterwards wash the face.

  1. Raw white potatoes

The potato is being used to treat wounds or bruises. The niacin in it can lighten the acne marks. It is best to use shred white potato and massage it on your face for few minutes, you can wash your face afterwards.

  1. Cucumber

You can lower the swelling from the acne by using cucumber. It hydrates the skin and reduces the swelling. A slice of cold cucumber placed on your face can help.

  1. Orange peel

The vitamin C and antioxidant properties in the orange peel can regenerate the skin. You can grind the peel and mix it with little water. Apply the mixture on your face and massage your skin for 10 minutes. Wash your face afterwards.

  1. Toothpaste

It is best to use white toothpaste to remove pimples. The hydrogen peroxide and baking soda in the toothpaste can help against a pimple. Apply little toothpaste on the pimple and leave it for few hours. If you have sensitive skin don’t repeat this process.

  1. Eye drops

Use a cotton swab to soak it in the eye drops. Place the swabs in the freezer. You can apply the eye drops on the pimple and massage it gentle. It will help the swelling and the redness of the acne.
