We are all aware of the healthy characteristics of the broccoli such as anti- cancer properties, strengthening the immune system, regulating the blood pressure and many more. It is recommended especially for pregnant woman and children because it contains folic acid.

I am sure those with children know when I say that children aren’t a fan of broccoli. But if you prepare it like a juice and mix it with honey, apple juice and lemon juice, the children won`t make any problems consuming it.

You will need:

  • 100 g / 3.5 oz broccoli
  • 100 ml / 3.3 oz water
  • 1 apple
  • juice from one lemon
  • 1 tablespoon honey


Wash the broccoli and break it in small pieces. Peel and chop the apple. Together put them in a blender. Add the lemon juice and the water in the blender and mix them all together. Now, pour the juice in a glass and add honey in the juice using a wooden spoon.

Enjoy together with your children, the taste is delicious!!!!
