Pineapple, Cinnamon And Oats Smoothie For Strengthening the Tendons and Ligaments on Your Knees
Our body relies on our joints and knees for flexibility and mobility – they help us hold a right posture, walk, run, jump and stand. However, over time, these connective tissues can get affected by injuries which make them lose natural lubrication and flexibility.
The knees must remain strong in order for us to move, and the same goes for our tendons and ligaments. When the aging process wears them down, you need to quickly restore their function in order to be able to move. Luckily, all problems related to the connective tissues in our bodies can be relieved with a simple mixture that will lubricate them and reinforce their structure.
The smoothie contains pineapple, cinnamon and oats. These ingredients are rich in vitamin C and numerous other essential nutrients that have anti-inflammatory properties which will reduce the pain. Here’s how to prepare it:
250 ml. of water
40 gr. of honey
40 gr. of almonds
7 gr. of cinnamon
2 cups of pineapple chunks
1 cup of instant oatmeal
1 cup of fresh orange juice
Cook the oats first, then stir in the orange juice. Next, blend the other ingredients in a blender until they’re smooth, then add the previously prepared oatmeal and blend until you get a homogenous mixture. Add some ice cubes in the smoothie and drink it fresh.
