The products we buy to dye our hair are chemical- laden products and give negative effects to the hair follicles and scalp.

If you are trying to make your hair lighter you might want to try something natural where your hair and scalp won`t get destroyed.

In the past women dyed their hair naturally and had natural tones and shine. So here you can read about those natural recipes that can help you color your hair all naturally.

  1. Green walnut husks – for brown hair

Firstly you need to remove the green husks from 15-25 walnuts. Chop them and mince them. Add warm water until you get well blended mixture. This is how you get your dye. Now you can use a brush to apply the mixture and leave it on for 15 to 20 minutes. Rinse it off well with a shampoo as usual. At the end rinse your hair with a diluted apple cider vinegar for the color to get more intense and shine.

  1. Red onion skin and Oak bark infusion- for light brown hair

You will need half cup of red onion skins and an equal amount of oak bark. Mix them in 1l boiling water, leave it to simmer for an hour and after it cools off you can use it on your hair. Apply it and leave it on for 45 minutes. At the end wash your hair and rinse it off with diluted apple cider vinegar in ratio 1:1 with water.

  1. Chamomile infusion- dye for golden blond hair

You only need 100g chamomile in ½ l water. Boil it and strain it. Leave it to cool of a bit and apply it on your hair. Leave it on for half an hour and rinse it off with diluted ACV.

  1. Beetroot- for red hair

Medium beetroot should be chopped nicely and boiled. After it cools off you need to mash the pieces in the water and apply it on your hair. Leave it to act for 20 minutes.
