Coconut Oil Kills 93% of Colon Cancer Cells in Only 2 Days According to New Study
According to a recent research, coconut oil can inhibit colon cancer. It has been praised as a potential cure for many diseases for a long time, but now, coconut oil has shown that it can also be a potential cure for cancer!
Alternative medicine has been using coconut oil as a remedy for many diseases, but until now, there has been little scientific evidence to back it up. But, thanks to a recent research, coconut oil has shown that it can be a lifesaver!
The study was conducted by the Adelaide University of Australia, where scientists learned that lauric acid, one of the main components of coconut oil, can destroy 93% of colon cancer cells in just two days! Both in vitro and animal tests were conducted on the efficiency of lauric acid on these cells, and they both provided the same results.
And, the benefits of coconut oil go beyond its cancer killing properties. Multiple studies done by the American Nutrition Association have shown that coconut oil “can be useful in the curing and prevention of conditions like diabetes, osteoporosis, viral diseases (mononucleosis, hepatitis C, herpes etc.), biliary tract diseases, Chron’s disease, and cancer.”
People believe that the benefits of this healthy oil have been downplayed by Big Pharma so they can maintain their profits. Ty Bollinger, an advocate for alternative medicine and author of the book “The Truth About Cancer”, says that food manufacturers play a big role in this. “In the 1960’s, food manufacturers wanted consumers to buy their margarines and hydrogenated oils,” Bollinger writes. “To do that, they had to ‘discredit’ the products people had always used in their homes to prepare their food,” he said. Bollinger also says that the coconut oil replacements the food industry offers have been the main culprit behind many diseases. “It is the very goods the food manufacturers had been pushing on their consumers for thirty years. The trans-fats contained in these ‘fake foods’ were incredibly dangerous to your entire body. High fat, high sugar, and high carb diets were put under the microscope and found guilty,” he wrote in his book.
And, although coconut oil’s high fat content has been demonized for a long time, these fats have been proven as healthy and useful, and their use in alternative therapies is currently underway.Tweet
