Most people consume the same food every day, which is not good for their health. Certain meats such as pork and beef can contain a specific type of worm which can get inside your brain and ravage your body!

Recently, doctors from Cambridge were monitoring a man who had a constant headache and some other symptoms after his trip to Asia, where parasitic infections are more common. After doing some tests, the doctors were shocked to see a worm living in his brain, which had to be removed surgically!

The man was diagnosed with Thaeniasis – an infection caused by parasites present in undercooked or raw pork or beef. Other sources of infection include contact with infected human or pig feces, or drinking from unsafe water sources. The worm can enter the brain where it can damage your health beyond repair, and can even be fatal!
